1. Copyright

All code, copy, designs, illustrations, prompts and the support-report logic on this site are the original work of Life-Line, protected under the South African Copyright Act 98 of 1978 and the Berne Convention. You may not copy, scrape, mirror, fine-tune a model on, or create derivative works from this site without prior written permission.

2. Trademarks

"Life-Line" and the Life · — • — · Line wordmark and dot-on-line logo are trademarks of Life-Line (™), with applications pending at the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) of South Africa. The ® symbol will be used once registration is granted.

You may not use the marks in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or origin without written permission. Editorial and fair-use mentions are welcome — please use the exact wordmark "Life-Line" with the hyphen.

3. Trade secrets

The scoring model, dimension weights, nudge rules and provider-matching heuristics are confidential. Attempting to reverse-engineer them is prohibited under these terms and may breach the SA Cybercrimes Act.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the reflections, goals, scores and notes you enter. You grant Life-Line a limited, revocable licence to host, process and display them inside your own account for the purpose of running the service. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party software

Life-Line is built on permissively licensed open-source components (React, TanStack, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Recharts and others). Their copyright notices are preserved in our source distribution.
